Hyperspectral Imaging for Clinical Applications

چکیده
Abstract Measuring morphological and biochemical features of tissue is crucial for disease diagnosis surgical guidance, providing clinically significant information related to pathophysiology. Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) techniques obtain both spatial spectral without labeling molecules such as fluorescent dyes, which provides rich improved treatment. Recent advances in HSI systems have demonstrated its potential clinical applications, especially image-guided surgery. This review summarizes the basic principle optical systems, deep-learning-based image analysis, applications provide insight into this rapidly growing field research. In addition, challenges facing implementation are discussed.

Applications of gold nanoparticles for medical imaging
Background & Aim: Molecular imaging enables us to non-invasively visualize tissue microstructures and lesion characterization, allowing accurate diagnosis of diseases at early stages. A successful molecular imaging requires a nontoxic contrast agent with high sensitivity. Nowadays, a wide range of nanoparticles have been developed as contrast agents for medical imaging modalities. Here, we revi...
متن کاملProduction, quality control and imaging of 64Cu-ATSM in healthy rabbits for clinical applications
Introduction: [64Cu]diacetyl-bis(N4-methylthiosemicarbazone) ([64Cu]ATSM) is a well-established hypoxia imaging tracer with reproducible production and significant specifity. In this work the high yield production and quality control as well as imaging studies in healthy rabbits is reported. Methods: Copper-64 produced ...
متن کاملSHARE 2012: Large Edge Targets for Hyperspectral Imaging Applications
Spectral unmixing is a type of hyperspectral imagery (HSI) sub-pixel analysis where the constituent spectra and abundances within the pixel are identified. However, validating the results obtained from spectral unmixing is very difficult due to a lack of real-world data and ground-truth information associated with these real-world images. Real HSI data is preferred for validating spectral unmix...
متن کاملAdaptive matched subspace detectors for hyperspectral imaging applications
Real-time detection and identification of man-made objects or materials (“targets”) from airborne platforms using hyperspectral sensors are of great interest for civilian and military applications. Over the past several years, different algorithms for the detection of targets with known spectral signature have been developed. Most of these algorithms have been reviewed in [1] within a unified t...
